Keeping Loved Ones Safe at Home: A Free Community Conversation for Dementia Caregivers

Caring for someone with dementia at home means navigating a constant balancing act — keeping them safe while honoring their independence. It's not easy, and the right tools and knowledge can make a real difference.

Join us for a free community conversation hosted by Shore Neurocognitive and Behavioral Health, where our psychiatric nurse practitioner Amanda Andrew will walk through practical strategies and real-world tools for keeping your loved one safer at home.

Topics will include:

  • Location devices and wandering prevention

  • Kitchen safety

  • Fall prevention

  • Medication management

  • Preserving independence while reducing risk

Sample tools will be on hand, and there will be time for questions.
